And the Warranty only matters if it breaks. With electronics, 90 days is enough to get past the break-in period. I've bought my share of 90 day warranty stuff and they're no different than the 1year stuff: They either fail right away or they last for years. All the 90 day warranty means is a chance to upsell a longer warranty (pure profit, those)
Remember, this is low-end stuff.
They are not premium-priced models.
The rules are different and the *customers* are different.
The market for premium tablets drying up? Well, how about going for people who *aren't* buying premium tablets?

As somebody who lived with an older SVGA android tablet for a year, I'm not about to sneer at this thing just yet. There is more to a tablet than screen pixel count.
