Unless the reseller provides you with the original receipt for warranty purposes, then it doesn't matter what you bought, when you bought it or who you bought it from. The item is not going to be covered by manufacturers warranty. Or if the manufacturer did offer some kind of replacement, they would be behaving very generously. So I don't understand the annoyance in this thread?
