FWIW I'm still getting comfortable without a dedicated 10-key. I guess you could always use the one Microsoft supplies with their keyboard
I'm probably not as fast as an accountant on 10-key but I spent a year working in a credit card customer service center when I was in high school and I got damned fast with it. I still use it by default when keying in ip addresses —*the subtle irony that the one thing ipv6 makes easier for me is typing in numeric addresses uses less numbers and requires a ':' instead of a '.'
