I agree. And I think Jim Dale's "performance" of the Harry Potter books was outstanding. So, this is the standard by which I judge other audio books.

Thanks all for the suggestions too. I hope this thread has helped others looking for well performed books too.

My wife didn't want to renew... which is why we had to use all the credits... you can carry over 6 normally. Now, I just need to find time to listen to these 7 books. My iPod is backing up with the few podcasts I listen to and haven't been keeping up. I have started walking every morning over the past month so maybe I will reserve that time for listening to audio books.
