The other, smaller businesses you mention are supposed to be fine with the plain old iPad.

Corporate sales has a very specific meaning in computing. And it means selling devices by the thousand as a means to seal support service deals worth tens of millions. That is why IBM tries to sell iPads; the service and support integration contract money, not the commission Apple might throw at them.
