I mentioned the search filter because at this moment, the thread he needs is the last one on the first page of the index.

I.E: About to disappear onto the second page of the index.
I sometimes think people don't realize the forum index has more than one page to it.

(At the moment, it has 138 pages - 137 of which nobody reads.)

And another hint: 5.3.x is between 5.0.x and 5.4.x
