In that case, can I put this forward as a feature request for some future version? I never use d&d for editing text, and my touchpad's sensitivity seems to vary depending on temperature and humidity and the phase of the moon or whatever. (It's a horrible new Dell one which doesn't even have proper buttons -- or rather, the whole surface is a big button. Very weird.)
