Precisely. It used to be the case that there were a lot of sites that I couldn't use with the Safari browser on my iPad, because it didn't support Flash. Now such sites are few and far between. It's far better to have a website that uses only web standards, rather than requiring a proprietary plug-in that's not available to all operating systems.
