Yes the removal annoys me because it worked perfectly and now I have to resort to Puffin browser to actually see the web properly.

Also yes in fact chrome does not have the real Adobe flash they run their own sandboxed plugin called Pepper Flash which is useless on the sites with secured content like Virgins.
I am well aware Google makes their own version of flash -- I was simply unaware that they failed to be compatible with actual flash in the process.

But then, I've never used pepper flash, since that would require installing Chrome.
Closed-source applications are a PITA to integrate with package managers, even if I liked the browser, which I don't.



As for the security -- flash has been hacked.
Maybe they should hire better programmers. Maybe they can rent them from Netflix.
