They use Flash because it's actually securable as do other TV providers in the UK and other parts of the world and as long as they do Flash isn't going away.

Yes the removal annoys me because it worked perfectly and now I have to resort to Puffin browser to actually see the web properly.
Also yes in fact chrome does not have the real Adobe flash they run their own sandboxed plugin called
Pepper Flash which is useless on the sites with secured content like Virgins.
