Truthfully, I think the long term answer is openinkpot. While I haven't tried out the 0.1 beta, I have played with FBreader on windows. Does the job quite nicely. Openinkpot is being testbedded on BeBook (Jinke, I believe). I'll probably flash over to it around 0.3 release.

Cybook gen 3 has some good things going for it, but without the ability to support a large library, or provide robust support for open-source formats like HTML, it's a loser as far as I'm concerned. Just a specialty reader for Mobipocket.

Maybe by this summer, I can retire my CYbook 1st gen reader....
