Just debricked my K3 WiFi.
"Waiting for device" is where it got stuck many times. I slapped it a couple of times and twisted the body gently, pressing it here and there [Accupressure ??] - and finally the green message! From there it took 3 hours to debrick the K3.
Note:
I did not put any pressure on the screen.
