I tend to make changes/corrections in order. So, if I notice the title in position #3 is not in the correct place, I'll fix the title or author sort. After a resort, the title may move to position #854 but I don't want the cursor in that position. Since that title is correct no further action is needed with it. However, I need to return to position #3 and continue down the line. I lose my place unless I remember to scroll to position #2 before double clicking the header.

What I mean by refresh is update/resort the library but hold my position similar to refreshing a webpage.

Edit: I understand that it's not worth it for you to implement this in Calibre.
