I don't know of any way to do this, given that even a horizontal image might be pushed onto the next "page" if the reader is holding his gadget sideways.

You could always write a text paragraph/caption, to take the curse off the orphaned heading. (Or, of course, you could get rid of the heading altogether....)

Or you could work in fixed format!
