Would you similarly refuse to buy an iPad because it says "Apple" on the back, or a Nexus because it says "Google"? Pretty much every device on the market has a company name prominently displayed on it.

So did he call it lemonade or did he just list it under lemonade because it doesnt deserve its own category? I think there was a misunderstanding, perhaps his English was too bad (or your German)?

In regard to the branding, pretty much yeah! I mean if Amazon had a more unobtrusive logo, it would be so bad, but right now the Kindle looks just like one of their cardboard boxes (as does their super premium Origami leather cover). It's just ridiculous, Amazon simply does not convey quality... Google knows that, hence the Nexus branding...
