Tell the man with the food stall outside the Neues Museum in Berlin that. On his menu he has a section headed "Lemonade", under which is listed "Coke", "Lilt", "Sprite", etc. I asked him if he actually sold lemonade, and he said that no, that was what people there called drinks like Coke.
Perhaps one of our German friends could comment on the matter.

Would you similarly refuse to buy an iPad because it says "Apple" on the back, or a Nexus because it says "Google"?

Pretty much every device on the market has a company name prominently displayed on it.
