Ok here I come again... I have successfully done all this on my Kindle Keyboard which was already on v3.4.2. What this means is:
1. I won't have to go through all the "updates-in-installments" that are explained in
this thread. So in 1 shot, I'll get Kindle DXG up and running on v3.4.2.
2. The reason I didn't want to install v3.4.2 on my big-boy was that there was no guarantee that one can revert back to trusty 2.5.8. With this, IF YIFANLU is right about reverting back from 3.2.1 -> 2.5.8 then it'd be true with reverting from this 3.4.2 -> 2.5.8 too!
I am attaching the bin file for step 2 I created.
How to use:
Add the following to the whitelist (<k3 root>/linkjail/etc/whitelist) of the jailbreak on the k3 host:
