I've got some good news and I've got some bad news. The good news is that the University of Chicago Press (UCP) has marked down
another group of their ebooks! The bad news? The bad news is that the University of Chicago Press (UCP) has marked down
another group of their ebooks. ha
In some posts yesterday, I opined (and whined) that I was really glad that the books had been marked down but, at the same time, I was concerned about how much money that I was spending on all of the books, because I was finding so many that I wanted. So, good news, bad news.
I wondered out loud, in one or more posts yesterday, too, if UCP might do it a
third time in a row. Well, I don't need to wonder anymore--they've done it.
I just learned the latest news, shortly before I started this post. So, as before at this stage, I don't know how many books are in this markdown. I also don't know if UCP has simply added the new ones to the list of the old ones, as they did the last time, or (hopefully) have cleared out some of the old markdowns to make room for the new ones. Anyway, here's
the link, once again, for the UCP ebooks at Amazon, sorted by price, low to high.
You know what worries me? This is a holiday weekend in the United States, with Monday being the holiday (Labor Day). That may be the pretext by UCP for this sale. What that means is that these markdowns may continue every day through Labor Day!
Well, you'll have to excuse me. I've got to go turn on the coffeepot. It looks like I've got a lot of looking at ebooks to do.
