What a refreshing sense of humor

So just to update, I had a spare speaker from my old phone... which is now implanted into DXG... So without the mid-frame, no functionality lost. Except UPM RFID (which I don't care about, not even an end-user related functionality anyhow!)

When I get a precise scale, I'll weigh my iDXG.

I had this idea even before buying DXG, but based on teardowns I see on the web, I doubted without mid-frame, the backplate would latch onto the chasse... but awesomely and luckily enough, mid-frame is nothing, it's just in the middle... no connection between backplate and chasse. I have to say, typically the most difficult part to take apart DXG is top plastic part, but in my case, it was fairly easy... you have to smartly and patiently "gitinthere"

All in all, there are 24 screws (wow!!!), 22 of which are IMHO unnecessary and right now out of my DXG.

Now, how do you guys think is best to steal some power and bring it to the 2 wholes on the left-side (where forks for case/cover is hung)?

Onto more reading...

I don't know about others, but I just wished Amazon didn't go away with these older models... There's something about them that is just so awesome. Yes, as you might know, I'm not really a fan of models after KT.
