THANK YOU HITCH! The book did it. She stayed up till midnight reading it last night, and today she cut contact for real. I know she's telling the truth because I checked her email and the one she said she sent him was there. She also has blocked his number and blocked him on Facebook.

Thank ALL of you so much for the tips and support. You have no idea how much it means to me.

And I can start sleeping again, maybe. Nice to have my Mommy reconnected with her better judgement.
Oh, that's TERRIFIC. I'm so glad. And I'm going to send Diana a note, too--the author--and let her know that the book helped someone. That's why she wrote it, and she'll be really pleased to learn (somewhat first-hand) that it's done just that.

Bummer on the friend--glad that your Dad has sold his, if you were worried. A good friend of ours lost his wife in an horrific MC accident, I'm sorry to say.

Again, CWatkinsNash--so glad that the book was helpful. She must be one hell of a voracious reader--as I said, the thing was 800+ pages when we got it for formatting!
