After giving lucidor a second try, I just remembered that all browsers have in-built zoom functionality
Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to reply to this thread, tried to help me out and... I think I can put up with lucidor until I upgrade to windows 10 or calibre gets annotations support
