I have come across an example where the KFX version of a book renders so that it takes up much less space than the same book in an older format, but not in a good way.
I looked at
this book on my PW2 and I noticed that on the copyright page near the beginning all of the information is compressed vertically with no gaps between paragraphs, making it difficult to read. I verified that this book is in KFX format on my kindle.
I checked the same book using Kindle for PC and found the expected gaps between paragraphs. When I looked at the KF8 version of the book from K4PC using the calibre editor I saw that the expected gaps are produced using paragraphs containing a single non-breaking space. Somehow these get lost in the KFX version.
Has anyone noticed any other problem with KFX book rendering?
ETA: I have added a third screenshot. This is the same book rendered on the Kindle when downloaded from Amazon using "Manage Your Content and Devices" in azw3 format and loaded on the PW2 via USB.
