Some eBooks don't have a proper cover with them. This applies to all the different formats. You've just been lucky so far. What I do when I convert from Mobipocket or MS Reader and there is no proper cover, I find a good looking cover someplace and use that with Cslibre or Book Designer to put in the cover.
