Hm. The kimono has already been given to its recipient, but I'll see what I can do.
(I may be able to get the girls to pose with the ones I made for them this year. I'd blur the faces, as I don't like putting my kids' photos anywhere on the internet, but they might not mind showing off the kimonos. Maybe after I get the obi done.)
It's weird. I probably come across as an interfering tree-hugger pinko pacifist to a lot of people (well, I am some of those things), but I just can't imagine interfering in anyone's private life to the extent of trying to regulate how many cats they have, so long as they are all well cared for and in good health. I mean, you're
paying to take good care of these animals. It's not like you're asking for anyone else to support you in this project. If they were breeding and running into other people's yards and decimating the local migratory bird population or something, I might be able to see it.
In fact, I thought it had been explained to me that the Texas philosophy was rather live-and-let-live, with the right to shoot anyone who tells you otherwise thrown in as a bonus.
