Crap, if true.
Do you per chance know which version of K4PC is the first that supports KFX, or the latest one that does not support it? I have the K4PC installer, but I haven't updated the application in a long time, so it won't be the latest non-KFX version.
I hate DRM. I'm glad I've been acquiring ebooks as fast as I can now that they are still de-DRM-able. I have 700 books or so, 56 Delphi Classics, and a huge amount of Feedbooks' public domain catalog (thanks to me discovering their storage pattern some time ago and being able to download all those books automatically... but they obviously have changed it since). This will probably serve me for the rest of my life, provided I'm not going to read books written after 2015...
