I found it very hard to hold personally. The bevel was too small and flat and the back too slippery. A third party item solved that and I've had no other complaint with the hardware.

The software could do with some work though. Primarily Kobo's apparently awful software development practices - there have been several obvious bugs introduced in my time of ownership. A few more options such as a U shaped forward tapping area and a (terse) encyclopedia instead of a dictionary would be nice though. I find half the words I want to look up aren't going to be in a dictionary.
