Tonight I'll see my parents, have a nice time with them and set up the Glo HD.
After that it will be as usual: download a bunch of books, manage with Calibre when needed and sync each time I'm at my parents' or at a local organization whre I'm a volunteer
To stay on topic, I'd like to add that I think the Glo HD bezel has quite a classy feeling to it

The edge (near the screen) reacts as a beautiful shiny mirror when you are in bright sunshine but in my country that is 3 to 4 weeks for a whole year if we are lucky, but yes.. it looks nice.. for me it is simple to set-up but it passed my mind that if you have a lot of kobo books (i have none) it would try to sync that the first time too, so it is better to be at a stable wifi connection, and it is always nice to visit your parents.. if you have cabled internet at your home/work you can put an wifi adapter on your computer that acts as wifi hotspot if your router isn't compatible,or at your work to bypass the internal wifi network (as the wired computer can connect the internet it can work as bridge when a wifi adapter is connected and on that computer you can set your own wifi password when you set it as a hotspot..) but it is easy for me to say when you have a 500-500 fiber connection at home

i can't even imagine how it would be without wifi..
