I love Robin Hobb (my favorite author). Very character-driven books.

Bought Soldier Son trilogy even though I have the hardcovers (I buy Hobb in HC). I'll give her a tip

I'd start with Assassin's Apprentice for Hobb which is also $1.99 right now.

Most agree the original Farseer trilogy is her best work. Although I'm REALLY enjoying the new trilogy.
