You really think that all testing and research on UI's stopped when iPads came out? I can't imagine why you would think so. UI testing and research is wide spread and not just limited to the computer world. It's a whole field of study.

All I wanted to know is what the criteria in the UI tests were? I have an interest in UI design and usability, and was genuinely interested in the criteria of the test mentioned.
You immediately turned this into an attack on me, effectively claiming that I was trying to start a flame war.
You have since managed to turn this simple request for a clarification into an attack on pretty much anyone who disagrees with you.
And while I will agree that Google is a wonderful resource, it suffers from a tendency to return too many inappropriate links for general queries, of which any UI query is one.
