I'm not sure I see the benefit wouldn't it kill the screen fast and use just as much power as an LCD, if something like this is refreshing at a typical PC speed say 60fps.
I know you can get LCD monitors which can power themselves from the USB so this whole concept confuses me.
Just to explain how my brain is working I'm thinking the equivalent of 60 ereader page turns a second I don't think the battery would last anywhere near as long as an LCD in that circumstance. A rough calculation I just made if the 7,500 page refreshes per charge I just looked up online is correct then a kindle would only have power for 2 minutes 5 seconds.
