I guess the question is how to connect from Kobo Start Menu via usb to your pc. Select "usb", and then "info". Read the instructions that appear. Touch at the middle of the screen to open the bottom menu. In the bottom menu press "close" in order to close the information screen. Now follow the instructions that you read.

If you then open the file explorer on your pc, you should find a drive with the name KOBOeReader.

If you did this already, and it did not work, there might be a problem with your USB driver (on the pc), the USB cable, the USB port, ...

Another point: If you want to read the books only with koreader (or coolreader), put the books into a folder that starts with a dot, for example: ".mybooks".
If you want to read these books with nickel too, copy them after connecting to the pc by nickel instead, and do not put them into a dot-folder.
