That's done the trick for me. Tried this yesterday, but after installing the customer screensaver bin I still had defaults. Tried again today with fresh files and custom screensavers are working.

In my case I didn't need anything more than the vanilla process:
Copy jailbreak bin to root, update.
Copy screensaver bin to root, update.
No hotfix, no KUAL, no MRPI, no python (didn't need the features).
Simple as. Really great, simple hack guys!
