I believe that if the kfx ever comes to the kindle for pc then you will see calibre being able to store them correctly, and elf will come up with the drm tools.

But for me I just love to read, and I love my amazon ebook library. And I do use calibre, and I send all of my ebooks to kindle for pc. So I can have a saved copy.
