Wow you are lucky to get one for christmas! Whoever got it for you must have ordered it early!

As for textbooks, some are available digitally, but not many. Find out who publishes them and go on their website. I can tell you it won't be much cheaper at all than a regular textbook. A bulk of the cost is publishing costs and fees. BUT you won't have to lug them around all day
