I ended up ordering the Icarus Illumina e653. I wasn't able to turn off the zooming, but was able to use the buttons to navigate. Then it stopped working, and I've been wrangling with Icarus to get it repaired. I get an rma, and sent the e-reader to them, but they didn't accept the delivery, and I don't know what to do from here.
