Less than an 1/16" movement should be required for the clips to give way allowing a portion of the bezel to lift from the rest of the case. It should get easier as you progress around the case.

Unfortunately, I keep my fingernails short.
I've tried a washer, but it's too small and the thickness is a bit too much.
I have nothing else around the house, except a hammer!
