I don't remember when I first noticed it, but I did notice long ago that when I turn my readers (H2o and glo HD) on and off while a book (all kepubs for me, no patches) is open, it often reopens a page or two back, and this whether I am at the beginning or in the middle of a book, and also when I've read many pages since I last closed the book.

I deduced that it can't be that the database updates only when closing a book, and that kobo probably doesn't update continuously not to slow the reading process, but often enough that only a page or two is concerned. If so it doesn't seem a bug but an understandable programming choice.

I think (not sure) that it is the same with the %: I had the wrong % when I was doing a quick back and forth in the book, like looking up a note and not going back.
