GtrsRGr8 - Yes, I'm very satisfied with my Scribd subscription, which I've had for nearly two years now. Their selection is good, including many titles from several major publishers. Their app is rather basic, but it's certainly usable and they continue to improve it. For example, the app doesn't include a dictionary, which would obvioiusly be a desirable feature. But I accept the limitations of the app and very much enjoy their selection.
They've offered audiobooks since November of 2014, and have tens of thousands of audiobooks available, which are included in the subscription price.
The other service you're referring to is Oyster. I've never subscribed to Oyster other than on a free trial basis. Their ebook selection is probably comparable to Scribd, but I don't believe they offer any audiobooks. Thus, I find Scribd to be a better deal since I also enjoy listening to audiobooks.
I believe Scribd offers a 30-day free trial, so you can check them out and see if they have the type of ebooks and audiobooks you like.
Enjoy!
