Thank you Kovid for looking into my problem so fast.
After perusal of the code there seems to be an easy way to solve it.
Alas, I am a reader and not a writer, and so I'm not going to change any code lines.
I like Calibre and it is important to me and y changing lines of code would only kill it.
I just have 10 libraries with different structures; I could reduce the number of libraries, if the virtual libraries could keep their structures (display of columns an tool bars etc.).
