I am changing a bit the usage of the alpha and beta channels. From now the channels will be used as following:

Alpha channel: used when significant new features have been added to CC that I expect/hope will generate comments on how to improve them.
Beta channel: all CC production releases will first go to the beta channel, with the exception of emergency bug fix releases. This lets the beta community see the changes in advance and let me know if something is wrong or should be improved. My expectation is that people won't have much to say, but having a small group see the releases in advance vastly increases confidence in those releases.
