Highly Rated Cookbook Fresh and Light. Only $1.99 at ITUNES.

Okay, I'm going to post a book from iTunes. I've shared with you before how I despise iTunes, and that hasn't changed. I'd like to post an Amazon Kindle (as I almost always do) of the book, it's just that there apparently isn't one (I didn't check to see if the ebook was available anywhere else, and I rather doubt it--the source from which I got the information about this book only gave iTunes).

Because the book has such a great combination of high ratings and low price (I can't say "has a big markdown," because I can't find out what the retail/list digital, or even print, price is), I'm going to relax my high standards, swallow real hard, and post this iTunes ebook. However, if anyone outside of Mobileread accuses me of doing it, I will flatly deny it; I'll claim that someone stole my password and made the post in my name, or something.

One thing that you need to remember about ebooks at iTunes: they're available for download only with iBooks on your Mac or IOS device. There's more information about that on the ebooks' webpage.

If you are like me and are not going to buy the ebook (me because of the aforementioned hatred of iTunes, and the fact that I don't have a Mac or IOS device), you at least can get one free recipe out of it. Itunes generously (ack!) provides a screenshot of one page and a partial page, and on that full page there is a recipe for a delicious-looking Beef, Broccoli and Black Bean Stir-Fry.

Fresh and Light. By Donna Hay. Itunes: "We have not received enough ratings to display an average for this book;" rated 4.23, from 64 reviews at the present moment, at GoodReads. Print price: List price N/A, the least expensive print copy at Amazon is $22.83, that's for a paperback; digital list price N/A; iTunes price now $1.99. HarperCollins Publishers, publisher. 208 pages. https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/fre...t/id545389642?.
