Not sure if it's the same pen but there are different batteries in it too - one AAAA in the body and two 319 button type near the top. Are the 319 *just* for the top button click(s) then? I don't think anyone who has OneNote desktop wants to ever see the Metro version (or Modern? or is it now called Universal?

) so I hope they fix that soon.
Edit: looked on MS site and yes it's the same pen for the S3 and SP3.
