is best visible when full brightness on a black page in a dark room, but normal reading is for example at 40% it is still noticeable (not that annoying though) when reading on the couch with normal light (from a bulb). initially, i think i can live with it (if this would be normal i would accept it), but i looked a little bit closer and i think it might contain less ink on that specific spot/area, a few lines less (there is not a curve in the rubber between the glass and plastic front i noticed, so that is not the problem i think), so a production fault (i preferably not want to have one).

also, would this be counted for warranty/repair, i.e. error in product design, or will kobo classify it as non-emergency, as naturally happening (i.e., a by-product of normal manufacturing which is excluded for this kind of repair)?

i think i will ask for a refund now i still can, because it is a fault in manufacturing (i checked some others in the shop that had it not and the girl there said she could notice it too, even at daylight).
