I remember many years ago when the publishers insisted on being able to decide on a book-by-book basis whether to allow text-to-speech or not, and the Kindles honoured that system. The publishers were afraid of cutting into their audiobook sales. Does it still work that way on Kindles, or can you use TTS on whatever book you're reading?
