My problem with humour is that it's very personal, but open to such a wide interpretation that one really has no idea what we'll get. So, my all time funniest book is Victor Molo's Bridge in the Menagerie. But that's ONLY going to work if you've ever played contract bridge. OTOH, no one wanted to include Romance in the list this year, but I could (and will, if Humor wins) argue that Georgette Heyer Regencies are certainly humor.

Memoirs/Biography is a much more clearly defined category, so I think it will be clearer what we're getting. But we already have history as a category, which clearly includes most Biographies and Memoirs.

So, I'm perplexed and sitting on the edge.
