arspr, can you confirm?
I've just installed frostschutz's sickel killing patch over 3.17. and times are even worse than in previous versions:

With Firmware 3.17+disable sickel patch: Open PDF: 32-33 seconds. Turn Page : 19 seconds.


The AES 256bit pdf issue remains unchanged. They cannot be opened and Kobo gives a wrong error message.
