Well, all joking aside, I value the karma I have -- I worked hard for, err, most of it!
I'm okay just so long as I can still see the list and the messages from people who have tapped me.
And on that note, a milestone for me.
45M karma, and just like my post count I built it up primarily through the calibre and Kindle forums, helping people.

There are a few constants even in magic.
Think Gamp's Second law of Elemental Transfiguration, and you won't be far off.
Money/power/karma -- stuff like that. Certain things simply cannot be made -- whether those rules are inherent to magic or limitations set in place by some higher power, is one of the great thaumaturgical mysteries. Better wizards than I have failed to find an answer.
Ironically enough, there is tremendous karmic backlash if you try to conjure up karma!
