I can confirm that it works for 5.6.5, German settings.

Since my eyes are neither young nor old I opted for a sort of medium-sized which I can adjust depending on the glasses I wear:
11.30 11.72 12.14 12.56 12.98 13.40 13.82 14.24

Works well with azw3, not with mobi (since the kindle's not jailbroken) and haven't seen kfx yet.
