If it is only the screen that is broken, you will never be able to type with accuracy, but you
could fumble your way to the settings menu.
All maneuvering around would have to be guided
through the use of repetitive screenshots.
As HarryT said, it's a lot easier to use K4PC
but if you really have to and you don't mind putting in the effort...
