I prefer someone else work out the bugs and pay the first year's depreciation. I did have to buy brand-new cars for two wives but I never got to drive them anyway.
Preferring someone else to work the bugs out before you buy in typically works the best when you are dealing with Microsoft Corp, who has a nasty habit of doing just that. I would dare say that Amazon seems to get the bus out before making the product available to the general public.
